Did anybody check the premiere of this show out this past Sunday on Shotime?? If theres already a thread i apologize. But this show is OUTSTANDING! Im callin right now that William H. Macy gets an emmy nod for this, just after watching the premiere

I dont have Showtime, but this looks good enough. Macy playing a filthy drunk is very humorous to me.

Yea.The show is amazing. Ive never seen an actor play a drunk/drug addict as well as Macy did in the pilot alone and the previews for the rest of the season looks outstanding. I thought this was just going to be a half hour long comedy but apparently its more an hour long dark dramedy. I love the supporting cast as well, I just cant wait to see what kind of real debauchery this family gets into. Also I would go as far as saying Ive never seen as realistic a portrayal of a majorly dysfunctional family as this. All the characters just seem so fleshed out and true to life.

Yeah the show got off to a really good start. I haven't liked a pilot this much in awhile can't wait for the next episode.

Just finished the pilot. Really like this show so far. The preview for the season looked great.

Yeah it was good... well not so maybe, since they copied the original scene-by-scene exactly like they did with the Psycho-remake.

Watch the brittsh original series. Much much better.

I just saw the pilot, this exists in the same fantasy world as Juno, it's like it's grubby cousin or something. I'm sure many took a look for Emmy's sex scene but I thought acting-wise she was the stand-out, and in truth if she wasn't in it I'd not be tuning in for episode 2.

They are acting like this Amerinized remake set there house on fire.

I think the show is alright. I'll keep watching for a few more episodes to see if it gets better, but if it just goes back and forth between Rossum and Chatwin's character, I think I'll pass. I'm already getting kinda bored of seeing them bicker.

Adding it to be recorded every week. This and Californication makes for good sunday laughs.
