The Rock is a good choice for Black Adam, but as for Captain Marvel, I'm not too sure about that. Brandon Morale looks more like the character. Can't have the Rock playing both Black Adam and Captain Marvel.

Granted I don't know a ton about the Shazam character, but from what I've gathered, he's basically a kid in a super hero's body. Big meets Superman. Correct me if I'm wrong...

If that's what the character is, I think the best choice is the hilarious Jason Segel, best known for roles in Judd Apatow's Freaks and Geeks, Undeclared, Knocked Up, and the current CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother.

Standing at 6'4, he can be imposing and tough (SLC Punk!), but he is also great with the goofy kid persona (HIMYM). He's got everything the role needs.

You know I honestly do believe that the Rock is the right guy for the role of Captain Marvel...but it really does annoy me to no end when people erroneously refer to the character as Shazam.

I believe the guy on the left, the best choice to give Captain Marvel a much needed ReBirth.
Guy on the right would just bring Captain Marvel to life for one film.
Captain Marvel would become a flash in the pan, quickly buried and forgotten once again.

Josh is a brilliant pick for Billy. He was great in "Bridge to Terabithia."
The only thing is, he's reaching that age where he's gonna mature pretty quickly (like Walt on "Lost") so they better hurry up and cast him.

Now if the actor nails it all the better. Tobey Macguire was a household name too before Spiderman...right? And what are we on, the third movie?? Working on the second superman movie?

You are absolutely correct Superman is the star.
Great actors like Christopher Reeve & George Reeves brought the Man of Steel to life.
The opposite approach for Captain Marvel needs to be taken.
The company (DC) whom purchased my beloved Hero buried him because his star was beginning to outshine Big Blue.
The Rock is the Star that will make CAPTAIN MARVEL a household name again!
