Shazam!

I read their thinking of making a Shazam movie and The Rock was asked to play Black Adam, do you think it will get made?

I think that WB should have made a Shazam movie years ago, they can still make it and it has the potential to be successful.

Make it as a stand alone movie with no ties to DC Universe, get a Billy Batson who is around 12 to 14 year old and the Adult Shazam actor should be around 25 year old.

Black Adam should be a mature man like Rock, the Wizard Shazam should look like Gandalf or Dumbledore.

A brief back story of Black Adam could be shown in flash backs and the movie should introduce audience to another villain Dr. Sivana.

That's really old information, it was years ago when the Rock was set to play Black Adam.

Bruce Begins pretty much nailed how they should do it.

I think it might be a little hard to sell in live action. Maybe doing as an pixar type animation could work.

I think a shazam movie would be cool, it would probably have the same feel as like Thor maybe, if it was done right. But the movie your talking about got cancelled

I think a TV show would be better, it would compliment Arrow well.

A TV show would be really interesting but it'd need a decent budget and I actually think it'd be better as a 12 to 13 episode format rather than a 22 to 23 episode format.

I say this having not seen the Arrow series, but...superhero TV shows never have the same feel as a movie with the a big budget behind it. I was a huge fan of Heroes and it still had that weakness.
I can't get over him not being called Captain Marvel anymore.

I think that would be one hell of a smart idea, at least in principle. As using a better known hero to push the lesser known is something I think could really work on the big screen

No actor would sign up for a superhero movie if they have to shoot two of them in a year or something. You'd run through a three-pic contract in 2 two years.

I originally thought the WB should do a World's Finest series using that format but each one introduces the next hero. World's Finest would be a smaller budget film.

Yeah but they don't have to make it anytime soon. By them they could have a new Superman.
