SHH Freaggin' SUCKS!! No it doesn't! Yes it does!!!

so... people actually know about the hype? and talk about it...in the real life?

I've heard a lot of people in Comic Book Stores talking **** about the Hype on a number of occasions too. Pretty funny - who's worse? The nerd, or the nerd who hates the other nerds for not being as nerdy? Or am I even nerdier for making that comment!? :wow: I'm so confused...

I always thought the hype was in some deep, dark corner of the internet that only the nerdiest braved...then never spoke of again.

SHH the actual news site, is pretty popular in terms of news and what not, but the forums well, that's a much smaller group of people.

This spring comes an epic tale of two friends readying themselves for the ride of their lives... one weekend... 200 plus Blu-Rays... and lots of beer! These best friends start out in pure euphoria, despite one having a PC; the other a Mac... but it all goes horribly wrong when one of them mentions his activity on an infamous superhero message board. Secrets, betrayal and a fight to the e-death - THE HYPE vs FACEBOOK - coming soon to no theater near you. This film is rated N for Nerd; cool people, strongly cautioned.

:funny:

He brought over his MAC

Yeah i thought he was going to be lame as soon as I read this line :awesome:

Honestly I couldn't give up my facebook because I have so many family and friends that I keep in contact with as I live in a different country to them.

A bunch of faceless people that I'm probably going to never meet who discuss ad nauseum every frame of a teaser trailer versus a bunch of girls with father issues and low self esteem?

Wow. That's a tough one.

when did the strip club come into this

I prefer teh Facebook, only because we over at the TDKR forums already set up Facebook groups made up of Hype members, for when the boards crash. :hehe: We've already taken advantage of that several times so far. :oldrazz:
There is another such group. One who shows their appreciation for rodent pets. Some say it's made up of only the coolest hypesters. I fear I may have already said too much. :ninja:

Mind = blown.

I do remember this fellow named spiderman2o29 that claimed to be an "insider" that got banned and then started posting crazy videos on youtube telling parents to keep your children away from the SuperheroHype forums.

What actually happened was that someone found out an old video from his pre-Hype days.

Just reading the postings on this thread I can see why some people would be turned off by this portion of SHH. But SHH is not just the forums. I realize that SHH and Facebook may be more alike than different but I don't know, to me facebook is too blatant and what it does to people's brains is pretty sad. It's like it desensitizes you and destroys your ability to communicate with people the "normal" way. Two years ago I read in google news that some lady in the UK posted a message on her facebook telling all of her friends that she was going to kill herself. A large portion of her friends all lived within like 10 miles from her and instead of anyone of them picking up the phone or going to check up on her, everyone decided to post things on her wall. I mean...who does that!!

A war between Facebook and the Hype could very well unravel the fabric of the space-time continuum, and destroy the entire universe.

S**t Just got real.

Should I volunteer the Hype in /b/'s next assault on random Facebook pages?

I tried to keep the conversation short but he showed me a few youtube videos about people complaining about them being banned and a few rants on other forums :yay:
Whoa, video rants? I want a life where being banned is a significant enough stress in my every day happenings to make a video about it!

.....oh wait, I don't want that life at all .
