Ok, so I realize the summer has been over for a few weeks. I had this idea before and just forgot to do it until now. I think this is going to be a seasonal thing if people like it.

But, for many toy collectors, summer is a big time. If you're in college, it means you may be hunting in a different place than the other 8 months of the year. If you're a convention goer, you've got a large wad of cash to drop in 3 days. If you loved the Transformers movie, you probably either grabbed as many figures as you could mid-summer and rode out the drought, or you suffered like many others through the drought and then sold your first born for the little trickles of figures that showed up. If you're into indy goodies, you stocked up on LCBH. Or maybe you went on a vacation, or moved, or got a new job, or anything.

So what did you do this summer? What figures did you find? What movies did you see? Did you go on vacation? Do anything cool? Anything bad happen?

Spill it, it's the Summer Wrap Up Party!

I got pumped for Transformers and went nuts buying up every movie TF I could find....then saw the film and started trading them off.

i got into sigma 6 b/c of the drought
and started customizing more also

Short jaunt to italy with the missus to keep her sweet about the ever increasing amounts spent on marvel goodies then while waiting at glasgo airport saw a terrorist get halved by a worker (go smeato!). Decided this as my chance to make a break for it in the chaos and visited glasgos forbidden planet stalked up on ml series 1 and 2 from hasbro and then came home with a once again grummbling better half

A scottish word basically the guy drop kicked the terrorist who had just driven a flaming (as in on fire) jeap into the side of the airport

Spent most of the summer wondering if I'd ever find certain DCSH figs.

spent most of it getting into marvel legends more and ive seen to many movies to list lol. Ive seen 2-3 movies a week so yeah.

my hunting for figures basically consisted of going to Bangor once a week and hoping that I'd at least find a new Star Wars fig. Came up empty a lot though.

SDCC was definitely the highlight of my summer. The entire convention was just awesome. Hopefully I'll get to go again at some point.
