Well, if it's that short, I can understand it. Not exactly that much depth to it, it's not a Tarantino thing. You get in, have your fun, and get out. The cinema equivalent of a lap dance.

I think Tarantino is sort of the style I would compare this to actually.

The length is fitting, we all know the storytelling is very basic. The movie is just the personfication of entertainment value.

That's the schedule at my theatre, looks about right.
Theatres always leave a stretch of time between shows.

The more "popular" a movie is deemed to be, the more showings it gets. You saw how many Superbad had its first weekend. Every half hour.

It has to do with how many screen it's on, I'm pretty sure Superbad was on significantly more.

I think that had 3 screens at my theatre opening weekend, this movie has one.

Distribution is a major factor in showings per day.
