Should any Avengers show up/cameo in this film?

I don't see any of the big guns showing up. We know Fury will appear and he is probably enough. I would like a Rhodey appearance, maybe Hawkeye too if he does not show up in Ant-Man 2.

Steve would still be frozen in the 90s...so why would he appear? It would make more sense once Carol shows up from wherever she was hold up around IW. That is if Steve doesn't bite the dust in IW part 2.

Same can be said about Iron man but he didnt exist until much later. Not to say Tony can't show up but i dont think there will be much of a point for him to make any sort of appearance.

Rhodey I think would be pushing it...just because characters can be around doesn't mean they should...too much of that and the world starts to feel small.

It would be nice to see Rhodey show up and not be surrounded by Tony. A nice cameo of him in uniform. Might add to his character.

Actually come to think of it... With the de-aging VFX who knows who could show up in either supporting character status or just as a cameo. I know, I know... "Marvel Brand Is Strong Enough To Make Any Character A Star..." Fine... But let's be honest, as wonderful as Brie Larson is she's not really a household name, even as an award winner. There's a reason Sam Jackson is gonna be in this. I think along those lines we could well see some other prominent MCU players show up in some capacity.

It would be good to see how Ronan got put on ice in the first place, maybe even provide a reason why the Kree were at odds with the Novas in the first place since they never really explained that in GOTG.

If we are talking about the 90s then SGT Wilson should be in Middle School and Colonel Rhodes a LT or Captain at best.
