That's an overexaggeration. I've got no negativity towards DC. It's just that I have no interest in seeing sidekicks get their own solo movies.

I think Supergirl really only serves the purpose that Harley does.. she's hot. The Joker doesn't NEED an annoying girl following him around, but a clown girl would probably be hot.

I like Supergirl, but I like Kal-El being the only Kryptonian even more. It's hard to make a firm opinion on this

Agreed, Kal-El being the only Kryptonian is the way I perfer it too.
There is just someing special about the lone survivor of this doomed planet. Raised by simple farmers growing up to become the greatest superhero of all time.

um The Major, the whole demon clut thing, I wouldn't want to see in a Supergirl movie that just sounds horriable. Something are ment to be forgotten.

I've already explained why Matrix could be executed well n a Supergirl movie. You haven't said one logical reason why Matrix is bad beyond irrational fan hatred.

Those religious nuts would probably hate Superman and Kara just as much. Not that a controversial subject can't be good for publicity or make for a good story in a movie. It's all in the execution.

You can't use Danvers without Matrix. It's the reason Linda got her powers.

Superman should be in a Supergirl movie, thats one of the things that ruined the original movie (although not the biggest problem), it just has too many holes without Superman been around.

The Reason it sounds so horrible is it’s not a true Supergirl. You claimed that Supergirl doesn’t have to be Supergirl by her relation, so in theory by your logic Powergirl could be used in a Superman movie, just change her name to supergirl, that won’t upset anyone. Cause she doesn’t have to be directly related to superman she just has to take up the name of Supergirl, witch is all matrix does. It will turn fans off because there is no reason for her to be supergirl, and her powers aren’t even the same, you would be better off with powergirl, because people will be confused by her having different powers. Also Supergirl has appeared in mainsteam tv. She was in Superman TAS, Justice League Unlimited, Smallville, and these show together have a large audience and the same supergirl was used in all of them. So there will be confuse by all of the sudden change supergirl to matrix who really doesn’t seem to be supergirl expect she stole the name. also We have already had Magic in a Supergirl Movie look how well that turned out. The Magic element just doesn’t appeal to most people, why I don’t know, but I know it doesn’t. The Demon cult thing would allow to much magic to be in the flim, witch is what needs to not be in it. My fan hatred comes from the fact the Matrix has no reason to be called Supergirl, it’s the fact powergirl has more of a right to be called supergirl than Matrix. I’m a marketing Major so my degree is in understanding the average people, and most people see Supergirl has a Krptonian teenager, they don’t see her as anying else. So you can say all you want how your idea will be better, you can say it will be a better movie, and maybe it might be but the majority of people will not get over the fact they threw in some female superhero and called her supergirl when she isn’t. So you can say that’s not there only oppition but knowing the average people going in to the movie it is. But the majority of people will be going in think they are going to watch a supergirl movie and really get something else with Matrix, at lest in there minds.

You wrong about that cause Superman is a Methodist Christian and Supergirl kara doesn’t have a Religion, however you are right about the excution.
