well he has always stated the film will be majority in the 40s. So at most this bookend moments will be maybe film opens in present and someone finds caps frozen body. Then we are in the 40s for the rest of the film. to we get to the end where we see cap is frozen. Then the last moment is stark/fury/etc.... character hovering over caps body as doctors work on him, and he awakens alive. And boom there we are.

I think that was part of the problem with "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." A lot of the focus was taken off Wolverine because of the multiple mutant characters that were added, probably just to appeal to the fans.

I think it would have played out way better if Fox didn't make stupid decisions like make the film under 2 hours.
