This intrigues.........A hard core soldier. Much stronger than regular Cap.....faster than him as well.

I'd love to see this every month.

Nah, I don't like comics about bullies.

All-Star Batman? No. That Batman's a punk. Just like Unverse Cap.

Don't read that one either. The pages I saw from a link reviewing what a crapfest it is was more than enough. "I'm the goddamn Batman!". A couple or more issues in the Batmobile getting to the cave? Other ludicrous stuff I saw? No, thanks.

So, to answer your question, Celldog: No. The only difference between Unverse Cap and 616 Cap is that Unverse Cap is a dickbag, thug of a bully. Why that seems to appeal to you is beyond me.

I'm sure some of the die hard Ultimates fans would agree with him, though. I'd prefer the real Cap back, before they give the other one a mini.

I wouldn't like him in a monthly series set today, but a jerky Cap is the perfect thing to beat up Nazi's with. I think a WWII comic could work, flesh out the character more, make him more human and not the Ultimate Cap we know and hate.

Why not just do a 616 mini, then?
Because we've seen that a million and three times.

Problem with doing an Ultimate Cap book would be to find a point. The Ultimate books, when they're good at least, have a point behind them, a somewhat deeper message than, "Well, Marvel continuity is so unbelievably cluster****ed that we're just going to have our cake and eat it too by continuing to publish 616 books, but also just taking the easy way out and making up an entirely new universe." The Ultimates, for example, has a point. And it's good. Ultimate Spider-Man doesn't. And it sucks.

So what would be the REASON for an Ultimate Cap book? No, him being a dickbag, or him being stronger than 616 Cap, that's not enough. What's a good reason for it?

It would be the best thing to happen since Midnighter got his solo title.

We love Ultimate Captain America.

There's obviously just something wrong with you.

There is no reason for it. He sucks.

No, he's a parody of American culture, most notably it's foreign policy.

Exactly. And Captain America is the figurehead of America.

In comics, at least.

Cap is not the figurehead of American's foreign policy or it's culture, really.

So American is the bully??

Not Radical Islam??

America is the problem in the world?? therfore Ulti-Cap is a bully too?

You people are a trip.

How you can call out radical Islam and ignore radical Christians is beyond me. We might be a trip, Celldog, but you're the idiot.

Echoed.

If there's one thing I like about Ultimate Cap over 616 Cap (and really, it's the only thing), it's that Ultimate Cap admits to killing Nazis during the war. The very notion that 616 Cap was engineered into the perfect soldier, but never ordered to kill an enemy in combat is absurd.

What 616 stories are you reading? He killed plenty of Nazis (and their allies) in WWII.
