or if the ghost/spirit/astral projection of Anakin does appear would you rather it be a CGI version of the original actor (kinda like they did for Marlon Brando's jor-el in superman returns)


or a new/different actor altogether

Anakin shouldn't age anymore since he is dead but he should have grown older than that in 20 or so years since episode 3 so I didn't know why they used that model unless he didn't age since he became an cybernetic being. But it reallt doesn't matter to me either way as long as the movie is good.

 

I never understood how Anakin had the ability to ghost out since he was dark side and it seemed like it needed to be studied

 

The Christensen ending is an abomination that should never have happened. The sooner Disney restores order to the universe by releasing the original trilogy on Blu-Ray without Lucas' OCD-induced changes, the better.

Hayden Cristensen's ghost is the biggest mistake ever made in a SW movie. It doesn't make any sense. If they use Hayden's ghost then why not use Ewan Mcgregor's?

 

Yeah, if Anakin comes back as a Ghost, it has to be Hayden, as far as I'm concerned.

I don't care either way. I'd prefer we didn't see Anakin's force ghost at all :/. As for how he had the ability when it needed to be studied? Well he is the chosen one after all.

 

I think it would make sense for Anakin's ghost to appear to Luke or Leia; that is assuming that they are in episode 7. He doesn't have to be in too many sceens either. I would have him show up to warn one of his children that there is another Sith Lord and to be mindful of the dark side.

 

No, if there's a Force ghost to be had, it should be Yoda. That's the only one who won't have fans whining this way and that about old debates, and it makes more sense for the greatest Jedi Master of all time to be the one talking to Luke et al.

 

I find it hard to believe these fims aren't going to bring everyone back sooner or later. Regardless of whether or not it makes sense.
Anyone who thinks Disney bought these movies, these characters, to do what's right for the franchise needs their head examined.

 

I never really saw Anakin as the chosen one. I think that title goes to Luke. Luke was the one that was able to use his angery to defeat Vader but still not go over to the dark side. In the process he was able to save his father and bring Anakin back from the Sith's control. Thus Luke brought balance to the force. Anakin was connected to it by being Like's father though. So in a way Anakin did bring balance to the force but only by being the father of the Jedi master that saved everyone.

 

Everyone knew right away that it was Darth Vader when he appeared, even I did when I was 5 and I thought the Death Star Scenes were inside the bunker Han and Leia were trying to get into. It makes no sense that Anakins ghost would look like Hayden when Anakin the Jedi "Returns" by killing the Emperor and saving his son.

 

I only want Hayden's ghost to return if we get to see Vincent Schiavelli in ghost form smash is head through a window and throw him off a subway train.

hmm...there isn't really a reason to have Anakin appear. His story is done. Luke is there to help...and if Luke was dead, it would make more sense for him to appear as a force Ghost.

You mean the "random old man" we saw under Vader's mask? Anakin aged. Obi-Wan and Yoda's ghosts reflected their ages upon dying. Why is Anakin different in that respect?

It's a nonsensical alteration. That said, if Anakin's ghost does return, they'll obviously use Hayden.
