Shows you quit watching before their actual endings?

Heroes - It's just a horrible show at this point, the producers and writers can keep talking about getting the show back on track, but it's the boy who cried wolf at this point.
Smallville - I'll watch an occasional episode here and there, but it's definitely not must see TV and when I do see it, it's never really any good.
Terminator - The continuity with the movies just sucked, seriously is it that hard to get things right with only 4 hours (5 and 1/2 if you count T3, but I don't) of material to keep track of

*Heroes lost me during the second season and I hear it's not gotten better.
*Lost I tried to watch the first season and it was just plain boring.
*Stargate SG1...after they introduced the Ori, I gave up on the show.
*Deepspace 9 I stopped watching but I hear it got good toward the end.

I almost quit Voyager when it was on, but I loved some of the characters, and it got fantastic toward the end. Smallville has more ups than downs for me, so I still enjoy the hell out of the show.

In quit Heroes halfway through the first season. Wasn't that around the big strike or something?

King of the Hill *ehh my schedule didnt permit it, but once i could see it, what they did to Louanne has made me resent the show.
The OC *after Marissa died
24 *after Season 3

I started watching Alias after it was cancelled. I wish I had started before. It was a good show.

Me too. I had never watched Alias when it was on, and not long ago a friend had me borrow all the seasons on dvd. What a fantastic show that was.

Hated the finale to the series though, they killed my favorite character from the show. :(

But that's when it finally got good again!

Terminator: SCC
Heroes (I'm not watching that show anymore after the last season finale)
24

Like Brainiac 8 said, Smallville still has more ups than downs for me too so I still watch that. And The O.C. got MUCH better after Marissa died so if you haven't seen season 4 (but enjoyed seasons 1and 2) then go watch season 4. I was bummed when they cancelled it because they could have taken it farther.

I quit watching Smallville, Star Trek: Voyager (twice), Boston Legal, Monk, and a few others.

I was on the verge of quitting Rescue Me during its previous season because it started feeling redundant and I couldn't really find any redeeming qualities in Tommy anymore; I still haven't watched the current season, even though it's been going for like 6 weeks already. I'm not sure whether I'll watch it or just give up on it altogether.

But that's when it finally got good again!

I don't know about that. I just remembered that I ended up watching the final episode of the series after quitting during season 3. It was pretty lame.

The only good part was Marissa's hot younger sister.

Prison Break - Lost interest after season 3.

Buff - Didn't stop because it was bad or anything. I just couldn't find the time. One of these days I will get the DVD's and finish the series.

My Name Is Earl - Show just got really terrible. Gave up a couple episodes into season 3.

24 - Got bored of the show. Didn't bother watching this season.

The Simpsons - Don't hate it or anything. I just never remember to watch it anymore.

Family Guy - Enjoyed the first run. Couldn't get back into it after it returned. Just didn't fnd it funny anymore.

If. Only.

We'd be talking about how Monk went out right before it got bad... but nope.
I quit it like 2 seasons ago because it started feeling really, really, really, really repetitive. Every episode was just "Oooh, Monk's gotta deal with something that'll make him go even crazier! HIJINKS!!!" It became this weird mockery of itself. Is it still that bad?

Family Guy (after season 5 i stopped, its like they are not even trying to be who they were from the first couple seasons)
Lost (just became dumb after the 3rd season)
Smallville (just couldnt find that show on CW anymore, so i didnt care)
Simpsons (just found it boring after watching it for a long time)

But that's when it finally got good again!

I totally agree here. The show needed that change, maybe if it had of happened during the middle of season 3 the show would have be saved it. Although it moved more into a Dramady than a drama during season 4.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Lost interest at the end of Season 4. Adam bored me. It wasn't even a consicence decision, Buffy was on, followed by Angel followed by Raw on Friday's. And without thinking I stopped coming in to watch Buffy and just stayed out to Angel was on.

Smallville - Stopped during Season 3, although that had more to do with it moving to E4 and RTE in Ireland swtiching around it's time-slot. Came back in Season 4, caught up on Season 3 and stopped again after the 7th Season premiere. Tried to tune in since but the one I watched Lana had super powers. Bleh.

NYPD Blue - This was all to do with Channel 4 not showing it regularing.

WWE Smackdown! - Having watched in since the first draft in 2002. Nothing they do can draw me back in, probably because of it's timeslot as well.

Yes.

I might check out the final season. Cause hopefully that will mean the writers aren't just mailing it in and want to end the series with a bang.

Heroes
Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles
Smallville
Scrubs (if it's not the real series finale... it doesn't ****ing count and I'm not continuing)
24 (almost every season... I start and just then trail off)
My Name is Earl
The Office

I quit these shows (and quitting Scrubs). T:SCC just didn't make much sense to me. This show can't be canon to Terminator like the creators were saying because of the events of T3, so I lost interest in it.

I count that (gulp, this is hard for me to say now) Season Finale as the series finale, nuff said.

My Name is Earl got too stupid and ridiculous for me to continue, especially when he went to prison, pretty much forgetting the point of how the show began, with Earl doing his list.

I quit watching Lost after the pilot because of the Polar Bear incident. That was ridiculous and I immediately changed the channel.

I would also like to add 90210. My girlfriend made me watch that, and after 4 episodes, I told her no more for. Everyone one on that show was such a d**k.

I wish I stopped watching The L word before that terrible Series finale. That finale was so bad that Showtime refused to greenlight a spinoff.

Earth: Final Conflict. Loved the first season but lost interest after Boone was killed off. The show did have a beautiful theme song attached to it though.

Is it true they have character on that show from a tough neigbourhood and who has been taken in by a rich family and he is called Brian
