Sidious and Palpatine

In the PT, were Nute Gunray and Darth Tyranus aware that the Supreme Chancellor was Darth Sidious? Same goes for Grievous when he and his droid armies abducted Palpatine from Coruscant in ROTS.

Darth Tyranus knew. He said it in Episode II. General also knew because Dooku tells him in the Clone Wars.

Gunray did not know.

I dont think we were supposed to be unaware of that. I would actually go WTF?!?!?!? everytime I saw a thread on how Sidious and Palpatine were not the same person (before the release of RotS and not here on SHH).

I dont think Lucas tried to make it seem like they were 2 different people.

Thanks. As for Tyranus/Dooku knowing, in Labyrinth of Evil, as Tyranus and Sidious are planning the invasion of Coruscant, Tyranus seemed worried about something. I believe it was either kidnapping the Supreme Chancellor or going against Anakin and Obi Wan at the same time, though I can't be sure (lost the book). Sidious assured him that he would be there to step in, should the need arise.

For the rest of the book, Dooku showed no signs that he knew he was actually "abducting" his own Master. Made me scratch my head there.
