Not that I'll miss this now-late character, but I'm glad they go out in dramatic fashion. No more "Not like this!" moments.

I would have expected several different other people to get killed off before that person, sounds very intriguing. As for the level of gore, when Daken killed the Punisher that was EXTREMELY graphic for a non MAX book, IMO.

Gotta admit, that's the last person I wanted to see bite it in all of this. Marvel better bury the Sentry for good... now he definitely has to go. I don't see him being accepted back by the MU heros now, so he'll probably get the axe at the end of siege. At least I hope so.

You know what? I'm pissed.[BLACKOUT] Ares[/BLACKOUT] was my second favorite character, right after the Punisher. Marvel's done a great job f***ing me over this past year.

And I'm now officially joining the anti-Bendis Bandwagon now.

Okay, so I'll tell you about the Siege ish, but the Thor ish is out today, so you can just pick that one up and read it

So here's spoilers for Siege #2. I'm only posting them here cuz even those who do choose to read the spoilers will, I think, only want to pick the ish up more!

My description will never do justice to how dramatically it's portrayed in the issue, but here's basically the big moment of what happens.

So, Ares gets convinced by Baldur and Heimdall that he's being played by Osborn. So he attacks Osborn. But at Norman's word Sentry swoops in and starts wailing on Ares. Every time Ares tries to hit him, Sentry hits him first. He's just owning him as they battle across Asgard as Sentry flies Ares or throws Ares all over the place.

Suddenly.... Sentry grabs ares.... AND RIPS HIM IN HALF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's one of the goriest panels I've ever seen in a non-MAX issue

I got a total flashback to when Sentry did the same thing to Carnage somewhere back in the early issues of New Avengers!

Anyways, blew my mind! Easily one of the best scenes that Bendis has written for Sentry.

There's a lot more stuff in the issue as well, such as the mobilizing of the good guys which has both Cap and Fury moments, but I'll leave that for you guys to read. This issue is a lot better bang for your buck than the last one, with much less filler in it.

And just for you Boulder, Maria Hill is fine, at least for this issue

No, F*** Deadpool... the Wolverine wannabe whose been in more books than should be legally allowed and is hardcore over-rated.

Side note: I actually like Deadpool. But Marvel is quickly killing any appreciation for the character that I have with overexposure. 3 series, various mini's and appearances in every title are MORE than just a little overexposure.

I actually agree. MAX has always been great and has been the only REAL depiction of Castle since 2004. As far as the 616 goes, Fraction and Chaykin chased me away from WarJournal with their horrible characterization... two years later, Frankencastle made me jump ship again. It's MAX or nothing until Marvel pulls its head out of its ass.

I still maintain that I miss Cable and Deadpool. That run was so much better than anything written by Way.
