Phobos pops up and scares the Void with his glowy eyes. Scares him so bad he splits in two, Void is defeated, Bob reynolds with a clean slate joins the Avengers.

That sounds terrible to me because Reynolds survives. I don't ever want to see Bob Reynolds, the Void, or the Sentry again after Siege.

Although I won't say I don't want to see him ever again. Just get rid of him for a few years until a writer comes along and does something better with him. Maybe bring him back into a small corner of the 616 at first and not make an event out of it.

Honestly? I think it will be Loki that does him in. Loki hates Thor...not Asgard. In a perfect world, it would be Thor in Warrior Madness state that does it...but I dont think Void can be physically killed...even (if) Thor is stronger. It will ultimately take magic or something else to beat him...Thor will be a distraction while the plan unfolds.

He's involved simply by virtue of Siege's subject matter, so I think it'd be a cool ending. Others have suggested that Odin comes back to defeat the Void, but I kind of hate that idea because I don't ever want Odin to come back.

Then Spiderman will shed a single tear thinking "it shoulda been me".

Just read the latest solicts from Marvel. As usual, they don't give away too much, but just enough to leave you speculating. My guesses now:

[BLACKOUT]The Avengers are said to be gaining a new member, one of the Dark Avengers. This pretty much confirms Sentry, which means Sentry won't die in Siege. Ares is dead, I know for a fact neither Bullseye of fake/Venom are candidates, Moonstone is joining the newest new Thunderbolts, Daken might die soon. Sentry is all we have.[/BLACKOUT]

I've been away for a little while and haven't had a chance to keep up with the comics world, but I started delving back into it with Siege. The first three issues were all great; honestly, I expected this mini to be very slow and talky, but Bendis has outdone himself with the continuous action - this is what an event like this should be. Coipel's art was awesome too. However, the final moments of #3 disappointed me...I really didn't want this to come down to a big confrontation with the Void because I've never cared about the Sentry. Unless #4 has a mind-blowing battle scene and ends with Bob's death, I'll probably be a bit let down.

As for the blonde dude on the cover of Avengers, my bet's on Steve. Although that's not a very good cover, don't know what went wrong there but it's not up to JR Jr's usual level. The heroes are okay for the most part but Wonder Man just looks weird.

I actually really like your idea. Wouldn't it be great if Loki's schemes over the past couple of years had been an elaborate long con to establish himself as the saviour of Asgard?

Im relatively sure Sentry/Void is going to die. If Sentry lives...i hope he is either powered down...or my other option...give him ONE power set...like maybe just molecular control. Still powerful, but we have enough flying god-like tanks in the Marvel U. With Molecule Man gone, he would fit in nicely.
