It means you're both crazy because JR Jr.'s been one of the most consistently amazing artists in the comic industry for the past 25 years or so. :awesome:

Well, I'll give JRJr consistency...

He may not be as flashy as the new crop of artists who take 3 months to put out an issue because they're busy crosshatching the hell out of every single wrinkle on a character's face, but he's an absolute master of the medium and can tell a story with clarity and beauty on a reasonable timetable better than just about anyone else. He's one of my favorites.

How could you hate JRJR? He's had significant runs on every flagship title in Marvel except Cap and FF (but he's drawn them a zillion times). His work is never late. He may not be in the top 10 all time on peoples lists but his art is consistent and solid.

Simply put, I'm not a fan. I love JRSr's work, but JRJr can kick rocks.

I like JRJR. His work has an energy to it that I fear is often missing in Marvel, even by artists that I like.

I like jrjr, mainly when he's doing spiderman. I hate the way he draws some other characters though.
The only I truly don't like about his work, is when they're introducing a new character under his work, because imo they lack the detail an everything that should make them look brand new. Like when he did anti venom and the new doc ock, I couldn't tell wtf was going on with the designs.

JRJR owns, **** the haters.

EDIT: I wish Copiel was drawing Avengers because I want to see every Avenger's face be twice as wide as it is long the way Thor's was through every issue of that he drew.

Haha, yeah, Coipel's Thor looks like he got hit in the face with a frying pan.

better than Frank Quitely, who draws everyone with "I really need to take a dump" face

You know, I am very surprised that deadpool hasn't popped up at all in this whole ordeal. He's everywhere else, he's like the wolverine of the marvel universe now........wait

I'm sure he'll surf into the fray on Wonderman's back like he did when the symbiotes invaded a while back.

No way bro, Deadpool will show up and just randomly kill Osborne and leave.

Because he's a troll like that.

One thing I've never really got about Deadpool is how insane his healing factor is. Its derived from Wolverine's, and artificial; yet if you chop the guy's head off he'll live for seemingly hundreds of years just as a head (and, I assume, a body running around bumping into things). Guy really pisses me off! We constantly lose Excalibur, Captain Britain, and New Warriors type titles. Yet we get a million Deadpool one offs, crossovers, limited series, ongoing series, teamup series, guest appearances. Its way beyond Wolverine exposure, who at least has a rich history, important interractions within the MU, and an overall purpose.

Deadpool is overexposed for sure. Even as a Deadpool fan I'd rather have Captain Britain or a Quasar book or someone else other than another Deadpool book.

But money talks, and when each Deadpool book is selling over 30k a month Marvel ain't gonna just drop em.

And BTW Deadpools healing factor is stronger because it's powered by his cancer. It's constantly working in unison with the cancer. Oh and he is literally immortal too. Thanos cursed him with life.

Whereas Wolverine would still have to eat and all that to get nutrients to help power his healing factor.

Oh and one more thing, when you clearly don't have a clue about a character, you shouldn't really bad mouth them.

I don't read Deadpool (unless he guest stars in a book I do pick up regularly), but I'd say as a comic book character he and Wolverine have pretty much the same purpose.

Yea what makes Wolverine more important than Deadpool? They're basically the same except Wolverine has unintentionally become a parody of himself. And Deadpool is intentionally a parody of everything to do with the superhero genre.

I just think that Wolverine fits with the rest of the MU more fluidly than Deadpool. Deadpool seems to be a separate entity as it were. Logan, from time to time, looks to be working towards something; be it mutant integration, re-acceptance of superheroes, or just fighting crime/bad guys/evil. Deadpool seems to just run around being nuts and popping up in the middle of everything else that goes on for the purpose of putting in an appearance for its own sake.

But like Ace said, I don't know everything about him so my opinion is just based on seeing him in everything as a guest star or tertiary character rather than his own series. I do like the cancer unison aspect of his healing factor though - didnt know that (though I remember something in his various bios about his constant scar tissue being related to the cancer)

Only thing I've seen Wolverine work toward for the past decade or so is racking up a bigger body count. He exists to be "the guy who kills people." That was interesting when he was constantly struggling against that side of his nature, but he stopped that a long time ago. Now he just shows up to kill people and/or be droll. At least Deadpool can still be funny from time to time, depending on who's writing.
