Siege

That was all artistic and serious. Plus, you know Moore likes pushing the envelope of good taste in general. If in doubt, I present to you Lost Girls.

But there wasn't any sexy tear to it, it was just "hello my name is Manhattan BOOM".

I actually wouldn't have a problem with Spider-Man becoming rich, famous, and loved. He's saved the world way too many times to still have crap thrown at him when he stops muggers. It's like when the X-Men moved to San Francisco and got deputized by the mayor into the city's beloved new guardians-- frankly, it was about time.

I say put the Hulk back in the Avengers, and give us back the Professor. Or a less bitter Green Scar.

Im Glad you dont write spider-man comics.

It doesn't bother me as much with Conner because she has a cartoony style in general. I think the fact that she's a woman herself might color my perception of her art as well.

Into Tony stark In Spider-man armor costume.
Yeahhh. You didn't even read that story did you? Because that makes no sense that comment.

Peter was still Peter in character when he was wearing Tony's armor suit he created and hanging with Tony. This Peter now. This guy? He's a dopey loser who will never grow up.

The whole point of him even being single like they wanted, to date, is defeated, when we know the relationship can go nowhere. So what's the point of Carlie, Norah, Michelle and all the new chicks, really? They'll just end up like Mary Jane tossed to the curb.

I was looking at some show the other day and they had women having a foot race on a horse track while wearing lingerie. I thought, now that's objectification of women. Then I thought the only way it could be worse is if they had them pulling some of those harness things, which I found hot, and, oddly enough, I found that kinda disturbing.

what are you babbling about? I wasnt talking about the Iron spidey days, I was talking about what peter would become if he became...... rich and famous. I agree with everything else you said though.

How about if Pete becomes rich and famous but Spider-Man is hated and hunted?

Jeph Loeb gets by with fan favorite artists and idiots with spending money.

Oh yea, I forgot that one. He also pretty much gets Tim Sale and Ed McGuiness all to himself. And all of his works still get some high profile artist.

If he became rich and famous, he wouldn't be Tony though. Peter's not really going to be the kind who'd let his new found fame and success go to his head.

Thats the thing, thats what the writers would do if that happened, make it go to his head.

But why after all this time would Spider-Man still be hated by New York? You'd think they'd have caught on by now that the ones with eight arms and riding on gliders are the bad guys.

Or they can do it the way JMS did it when he had a comfortable life and not let it get to his head

Well, why not? He's already Superman lite.

regardless, considering current Peter doesnt even have a Job, or a girlfriend, or friends, I dont see it happening. Also his new Uncle in Law is the Mephesto in disguise.

I assume the same reason why Normon Osborne was made a national hero, and put in charge of the U.S. Goverment despite being a convicted Maniac.

I hope Bendis moves the Avengers back into the Tower. I'd rather see Peter staying there than staying with Evil Aunt May or MJ.

****, let Tony pay for everything. Pete won't even need a job.
