Oh goodness gracious people, I was trying to be funny by making it obvious but without flat out saying it.
I'll state it more clearly cuz I don't want people to waste their money on this crappy ish.
The "new venom" is ms marvel. She's taken over by the symbiote for a grand total of, like, 3 pages. Of course Gargan then gets the symbiote back and escapes in the end. Nothing meaningful happens in the ish and it contributes absolutely zero to Siege. If you painted over the backgrounds to be new york instead of Asgard this could've been thrown in as a random ish of ASM.

Complete waste of an issue. Something meaningful and dramatic could have been done with this.

That leaves Sentry and Venom as *???*. Sentry is probably gonna die in SIEGE #4, he's nowhere to be found in any of the Heroic Age news. There's that SIEGE aftermath one shot about the death of an Avenger (that looks like Sentry).

Venom-Gargan is the only one that I haven't heard what they're gonna do with him.

I noticed that they're reintroducing the Blue Marvel in that Age of Heroes mini, too. Maybe as a replacement for the Sentry as Marvel's resident Superman analogue, literally embodying a return to traditional superheroics in the Heroic Age?

I actually like Sentry but dude does need to be depowered and Bendis's rendition of the Sentry's origin, AKA the wrath of God, is stupid. I say make him a cosmic hero or he just goes away for awhile until someone gets a clue on how to write him. That or just keep Bendis away from him.
