Some fans over at the X Verse are really giving it to simon in a thread that he does read and does respons too... i have never enjoyed reading something so much! but at the same time you got to know it all hurts when it is your "ART"... but maybe your "ART" shouldnt suck. But jump over there and read the undertones of the disgust and lack of respect in the questions being anwsered... and honestly IMO, i think they are all valid opinions that i would love to hear answers for!

i dont get what people expected? Him to give away the entire movie on an internet forum?
Singer and fox lied to us after X2 (the shot of jean, in uniform, in the whitehouse at the end. but ahhhhh, we like that lie, so its acceptable.)

Can I just ask when they were supposed to have lied? I am really tired of reading everwhere that they lied to us with no evidence that they did. I know for a fact they both spent a lot of time trying to work out how to word answers so that they could give a response without ruining the movie an/or lieing.

Lieing constitutes purposely misleading others. They mislead many to believe that they would enjoy Cyclops, Rogue and Angel's roles. As far as I've seen most fans didn't enjoy the short shafting of these characters on screen.

They lied plain and simple, that's why they are on my annoying people list. They still delivered a fun, intelligent, well thought out movie, but they lied in the process of doing it. Sure they couldn't spoil the movie or anything, but they still lied.

They didn't intentionally mislead, they tried their best to respond to people within the parameters of what they were able to say and what they couldn't. They are not liars, there is a LOT that they told us about the movie, they were very forthcoming with information but also very respectful of fans in not wanting to ruin the movie for them. If you can show me a specific lie they told I would be interested to read it.

This was a intelligent and thought out movie, for you it wasn't because it didn't contain what you wanted it to contain!

The only things I'm annoyed about (lies wise if thats what you want to call them) is that we were told we would see the firebird at least twice. As it happens though, who cares, I liked the Phoenix effects.
The other was that Rogue would be a key character and would get to kick ass. I must have blinked and missed that part! LOL

Ok, so the writers didn't lie... and I agree it's kind of silly for them to be angry over someone misleading the public about the outcome of a movie.

But the most aggregious crime, is that they are harping about lies when they could be ripping Simon a new one about the crappy storytelling, and poorly thought out plotpoints... it's almost criminal.
