lol hey as a French and i'm a born rioter you know :D

let's go for it buddy :D:up: ;)

My question to them goes more along the lines of
1- How do you feel your script was translated to the screen
2- Did the original script have more character development
3- As "fanboys" do you feel you hurt the script by expecting everyone to know whats goin on in the beginning?

Me too, although I was expecting Juggernaut to be more serious. It keeps slipping my mind that he was a more comical character in TAS for some reason.

Some fans over at the X Verse are really giving it to simon in a thread that he does read and does respons too... i have never enjoyed reading something so much! but at the same time you got to know it all hurts when it is your "ART"... but maybe your "ART" shouldnt suck. But jump over there and read the undertones of the disgust and lack of respect in the questions being anwsered... and honestly IMO, i think they are all valid opinions that i would love to hear answers for!

Hurling insults towards Kinberg and Penn will not help the situation.

no it will not, use straight and up front questions, i know fans maybe angry, i posted questions that i hope doesn't sound too flamish.

Will rogue get to kick ass in x3?

"Yes, Rogue kicks some ass. Also, her journey in this film is more complicated and emotional than anything she experienced in the first two movies

Here is a direct lie from Kinberg.

Lol no , but i know a lot of people who were there..

i hear by French friends living in America too that a lot of things on thoses events have been transformed in American channel? : Paris was looking like the Bronx or rather Beyrouth from what i hear .

that was not so bad. really ...

Okay, it's time to be the voice of reason here.

For a long time I was a bit disappointed in the role of Cyclops. For a long time we wondered why Cyclops was killed off, why Rogue took this, and why Angel has such a limited role. All of those are very valid questions and represent our particular feelings towards the source material, the writers, and of course, the film itself.

But we need to think realistically for a change. Who's to say Simon and Zakk didn't fight for Cyclops? Who's to say that they didn't see the popularity, the posts, and of course the overwhelming love for the Phoenis Saga? But yet, they still had to work within the parameters and did the best they could.

What fanboys/fangirls fail to understand is that the movie field is a business. This isn't New Line Cinema, LGF, or Sony where studios back off and allow you to make the movie of your dreams.

Dave Chappelle recently spoke on this matter. He said those who want to be writers or directors, be prepared to walk into a room full of suits who have NO IDEA what the material is about and be prepared for them to laugh at your ideas. If anything, you cannot blame Ratner, Simon, or Zakk anymore. It's time to focus the blame on the likes of Rothman and realize that it was he called for all of this.

It's easy for us to sit here and say "Oh Simon and Zakk SUCK! THIS MOVIE SUCKS! BRETT RATNER IS A STUDIO YES MAN!", when it's obvious none of you and this includes myself, knows what you would do in that situation and how you would get the movie finished.

I haven't seen the film yet. But I'm getting quite bored and annoyed of overzealous fanboys whining, crying, and bashing the writers and the directors for doing their job. If you can do so much better and feel you can make a better movie, then stop whining and actually get into the movie field so you can show the REAL directors how it's done.

go see the movie Last , then we'll talk.

ps: the "do a movie yourself" is one the lamest argument possible.

From your reasoning only the people who do movies could complain?

So i guess there would be no audiience.

i just have one question i believe i read that you said angel will have a pretty decent role, but anyword(without details or spoilers of course) if his role will be story based or will he have quite a few action scenes as well.

*Angel will be in action sequences. His wings look incredible.

Another Kinberg quote

*claps*

Problem is Maze, he's right. We all know what went on behind the scenes to get this film off the ground. It's quite clear that it was more Rothman and the execs at Fox than Ratner, Kinberg, and Penn.

Thank you. Some sense at last :D

From your reasoning only the people who do movies could complain, or critisize..right.

I guess we should just be happy customers, sheep, who just eat all that one gave them ..

yup that's one way of seeing it

.I'm sure that the filmmaker will progress in their field like that.

Yes, that is almost as lame as people saying that this movie sucks only because their favourite character dies

Guys keep in mind the more intelligent the question the more likely you get a better response
DONT
Ask: Why The Hell did you kill off Cyclops!

DO
Ask: After seeing X3, what was the reasoning for the death of cyclops

If you read my others posts i didn't say otherwise..i just say that Simon is not a good writer and that show.

i just say that he said himself ( even if i doubt it is true) that even with cetain boundaries he had a lot of liberties.

i just say that Ratner himself said that he wanted that "kinetic" pace..

Why is it lame? We really do have no idea what pressures these guys have, what control they have over any of the aspects of the movie, and how much of what they envisioned actually made it into the final cut. You are entitled to your opinion on the movie, but you should be aware that there is more to it than Zak and Simon sitting and writing everything they could dream of putting on the screen. We know that actor availability was one problem, the studio would have had their own set of "demands" for the movie. Its really tough.
