The latest trailer is awful.

Remember when the Simpsons writers were witty and original? And didn't go for the most obvious gag?

That was a long time ago.

It's almost like looking at an old girlfriend who you barely recgnise and thinking, "Why did I love you all that time ago?"

I just pray they go for the 'feel' of the first 6-7 seasons.

Base it around a solid single story and allow Homer to do lots of dumb things.
