Simpsons Spidey Shout-Out

I was watching The Simpsons last night, and they had a total shout-out to Spidey. Moe sends a poem to this poetry magazine, which is run by a dude played by JK Simmons who looks exactly like J J Jameson, and acts like him too. At the end of the episode, he screams, "Get me pictures of Spider-man!"

"But sir, this is a poetry journal."

"Fine then, get me POEMS of Spider-Man!"

I thought it was a nice touch.

You'd think it would be an easy thing to do to the man for whom your son was left standing at the altar.

I think it would be really funny if JJJ didn't know who MJ left John at the alter for. He would be dissing this unknown man right in front of Peter, not knowing it's Peter he's talking about.

For example:

JJJ-"That guy John was left at the alter for must be some pathetic loser, eh Parker?"

Peter- "Um...Yeah..."

His tirade would be more elaborate than that. He'd probably go into some long-winded bit about how could she possibly do better than John & what he'd do if he ever found out who the pathetic loser was.
