regenerate from being nothing more than a f**king skeleton in under 2 minutes? seriously, what the f**k was that??? it made me want to kill the writer, the artist, and stop reading the entire arc, and I usually dont get mad at comics, but that was just incredibly f**king stupid on every level I can think of...I mean, I know they've amped up his healing factor as of late, but even when he had the metal ripped out it took him a long god damn time to recover, he wasnt back to being himself in 2 seconds

I think ever since he grew back an eyeball when somebody ate it... its just gone more and more ridiculous :(

I long for the wolverine of old that just healed faster than other people... and cud still probably die if he had enough punishment.

Wolverine healing factor has always confused me:confused:

I’ve always wonder where Wolverine get the extra mass to reform his body. Think about it, his healing factor sometimes goes way pass healing. His body has actually reconnected organs.

Dose he somehow bave an unconscious ability to manipulate the surround matter to reform his body

Or

Is he connected to an extra-dimensional portal like the Hulk, which gives him an unlimited around of mass to reform his body

Or

Is he a low level telekinesis who can only reform his body tissue

Or

It's a comic, it's not worth wasting your time boggling your mind over how his power works exactly.

I agree with the thread though, I was really enjoying the arc, got to that point and just thought "wtf was that.. are they *****ing *****ting me?"

in time, your own body can regenerate cells which make up tissues so Wolvie could reform mass, but I agree his healing factor is way too consistent and far too powerful

I was confused by this too. I though him being alive after being torn in half in Ultimate Wolverine Vs. Hulk was a stretch, but this is way too much.

Also, if Wolvie completely loses a limb then regrows it, that part of his body won't have the Adamantium anymore, would it? I'm saying this because I recall in an issue of Ultimate X-Men a sentinel blew off his foot completely and I was wondering if that would be his weak spot if it grew back cause the bones would have no coating.

Wasn't there also a comic that took place during WWII where he was actually decapitated? How does his entire head grow back??

And he's still on fire as he's regenerating in the last issue.

it was my understanding that Wolvie didnt regrow limbs. If his lost a limb it would quickly heal into a stump.

Wolverine is now an Omega mutant, now having either regeneration or immortality. He can heal faster than goddam atoms move in a bomb.

Pfft.

When you think it's safe to go back and read Marvel Comics.:O

They really need to get a handle on how his ability works. :o :down

Those writers are way too obsessed with Wolverine, they need a shrink.

Well, I think they'll soon take other places as well if Fox still owns the licence.:)

It's great when you see pages like those, and then read this on marveldirectory.com.

Known Superhuman Powers:

Lastly, Wolverine possesses an accelerated healing factor based on his physiology. While most normal humans heal injuries over a long period of time, Wolverine's healing factor speeds up that natural process. Wolverine's natural healing has been advanced to the point where he can heal extensive injuries (such as broken limbs) in a matter of hours to days. This factor gives him a higher resistance to poisons and toxins, and he can recover from almost any injury. The more extensive the injury, the longer the healing time will be.

Wolverine is not immortal, however. If the injuries are extensive enough, especially if they result in the loss of vital organs, large amounts of blood, and/or loss of physical form (such as having flesh burned away by fire or acid), Logan can die.

Wolverine, again due to his healing factor, has an enhanced resistance to disease, as well as an extended life span. Despite Wolverine's chronological age, he is still as healthy and physically fit as a man in his prime.

I mean, how many people had to give the script and sketches the greenlight?

Nobody thought, hm, this is kind of ridiculous?

Who's the editor in charge? Oh, I could just smack 'em.

I saw that last night too. I picked up Civil War: Wolverine (didn't buy it) and noticed how strange it was that he was incinerated from a skeleton back to his old self, minus a patch of revealed muscle on his right shoulder and bicep, within a couple of pages.

And like I've always said before, Stan Lee should PIMP SLAP Joe Queseda for screwing up his legacy. What a joke Marvel has become.
