Has anyone tried to see if the binary has changed on sitting ducks now, in light of what it says on happytrails?

edit: Or maybe you have to shoot over a certain number now (because of the 'Rapid Firing, now I can hit moving targets whenever I want.')

I've tried but am finding it tricky to hit many as I'm on my laptop.

I've been messing with the ducks all morning trying to figure something out and it's beginning to drive me a little crazy.

Okay.

So holding down the space bar key as you fire gives you "rapid fire". But sometimes your rapid fire skips a duck, in my case, it's always a yellow duck.

And...I've played 5+ times and hit every single duck. At the end of the game it tells me 296/296 ducks. 156 blues. 140 yellows. But it still says "YOU LOSE".


Hmmm.

Do you know yet about the message in binary? There are probably details at http://batman.wikibruce.com/ but reading the ducks as binary code gives you a message about how to win the game. And that took us to whysoserious/happytrails. Apologies if this is old news to you. It's hard to tell sometimes. For myself, those freakin ducks drove me insane. I really hope they don't update the message or anything because I really don't want to go back there.

But whysoserious.com/happytrails was updated and it now says "Fully automatic RAPID FIRING system. Now I can hit moving TARGETS whenever I want"

I just assume there something new with the Sitting Ducks.

Maybe I'm wrong.

I tried it.

It kept skipping ducks.

no if you hold the spacebar down the whole time every duck falls

I don't think pressing space is "rapid fire". The spacebar can often be used in a flash animation to identify links.

I press space all the time when I watch homestarrunner, to find the hidden links easier. You might notice a yellow box go around the ducks during "rapid fire", but that same yellow box can appear in loads of flash animations with links.

I would bet that "rapid fire" has been a part of the game all along, simply because it is a glitch with flash and certain browsers.

As much as I'd like this to be a new game, or a ninja tip, I don't think we'll find anything here.

It did its job, it lead us to the trailer. It's just that now people people are going back to it expecting it to lead us somewhere else.

I really thought the Rapid fire had something more to it also...it just seems too placed after the fact that we all did the code to get to that page. I feel like there is something coming having to do with that....

what if it doesn't exist yet?
as far as viral at this point it could be anything...and most are interlocked with the previous....all I am saying is..I wouldn't count it out.
