Six New Posters!

Am I the only one who doesn't make a big deal about posters? They're just posters.

I'll just be blunt...Akerman's ass is amazing...The costume clings on perfectly...

I only flip about posters because it's my field of work (illustration & design) - :D

I should be excused from flipping out; I do it to pretty much every movie poster.

These posters are awesome and most of you are just bashing them over little things.

"OMG that quote is so Lindsey Lohan"
"ROBIN!"
"Ugly ugly ugly photoshop"

Jeez, ****. HATERS I SAY!

Guys... :csad:
...Am I the only one here that does not dig the new posters? The old images communicated deep intrigue, an approach which tied in well to the trailer's boast: "based on one of the most celebrated graphic novels of all time".
These hokey posters, on the other hand, seem to say there's a new, goofy-obscure hero movie coming out. Meh.

You are not the only one. :cwink:

Thanks. From the moment I posted, I thought I was going to run into a fanboy rake

While I do like the posters, I have to agree that I liked the other ones better. They seemed grittier. I hope they continue that series

These have a sort of Nickolodean Kids Magazine feel to them. But they're still pretty cool. That's Dan and Adrian at The Comedian's funeral behind Manhattan. Look at the weight Patrick Wilson has put on. Huzzah!

I............love? you?

is that enough?

these are incredible, however un-gritty, or "Robiny" or too "hellboyee"
I don't care, I love them

and Akerman's expression looks much better in high res

If I do say so myself.......which I do

and good ol' rawsharks' wearing my favorite promo face

the funeral poster is perfect

Damnit, Patrick Wilson is Dan Dreiberg. Look at the Manhattan poster, he looks perfect as Dan in his civilian clothes. Best casting of the movie, in my opinion.

Also great seeing Manhattan in his suit. I wondered what that would look like.

I know!

I was going crazy with excitement seeing the latest video journal, his hair is perfectly hokey

UUGGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I hate it when studios do this, when they send out posters or pics of the same set one to each different website. It annoys me to no end, then we end up with crap like this. These are all awesome but only The Comedian and Ozymandias' are good size and quality. The rest are crappy low quality pics not even worth saving. Why don't they just release the whole set in good quality to the fans damn it??? And some of the sites they sent them to, what the hell???? Entertainment Weekly, MTV, Access Hollywood???? Come one, these are all pop culture gossip rags sites and mags. I know they are trying to widen the audience who gets exposed to the film but these are exactly the sites that messed up the pics and that don't know or couldn't care less about this film.

thank you, someone who agrees with me. its like, the only reason wb does that is to win an effing award on the mtv movie awards. that just scares me to no end since it will ruin watchmen for me. having a movie based on the graphic novel i love getting attention on that crapfest's channel's makes me hate mtv more and more. oh and the posters kick ass.

The posters look good, I wish the Dr. Manhattan one was bigger though. Each day seems to bring something new.

Believe it or not, but Watchmen still needs to grab the average Joe's eye. The only way to do that is to send this stuff to those sites. Watchmen looks great and all to us because we've read the book, but many have not. And in order for this movie to be a success, you need to grab the public's attention. Even if it means posting new posters on MTV.com.
