I saw a Skyline thread and remembered that movie for the first time in awhile....


now I'm depressed.

Eh, I thought it was decent. It wasn't your typical alien-invasion movie but I kinda liked it.

You know, Skyline Beyond may turn out to be better, given, they should be aware of some of the issues the GA had with the original. They may do a better job in the direction they wish to take the film...story wise, casting, plot, sfx, etc.

By issues you mean the terrible story and even worse acting?
I will say that the FX and CGI were actually quite good, very impressive considering the $10 million budget. If they had spent a bit more $ and worked on the script a bit more and did a better job of casting this might have turned into a good low budget sci fi movie and done better boxoffice.
