No idea if there's a thread. I searched and nothing came up.

Anyways, the trailer just dropped today and I am COMPLETELY excited for this movie!

In the sci-fi thriller Skyline, strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth.

looks good to me

The only dialog that's featured in the trailer come from the news anchors, they talk about how Steven Hawking warned us that if aliens landed on Earth, they'd be hostile. So far I'm down with the trailer, until you have this old news anchor in a very serious tone, spews out this line; ''In other words, it didn't turn out too well for Native Americans''. Could that line have been anymore awkward? Because let's be honest, I snickered at the line where I should felt threatened by it.

I know trailers like to recycle some stuff from other films and trailers, but the obvious Transformers alien sound killed the trailer for me. Even the god damn text is similar to Transformers.

Brothers Strause....Well these sons a *****es directed Alien vs Predator: Requiem....Nuff said!

Even the casting is not great, because like Alien vs Predator: Requiem, you got a lot of TV actors who really don't impress me at all.

I will say the special effects look great and the ship abducting thousands of people looks crazy, but that's not going to get me to buy a ticket.

dont let the 'ok' trailer vfx deceive you...

its a low budget film, with terrible actors, and hack directors..

they stole the sound fx and font style of transformers...of transformers... let me repeat.. of transformers..lol

its a nicely edited trailer for a sci-fi channel original movie quality film.

It's from the directors of AvP: Requiem, so you know it's good!

The concept looks really cool but the Transformers audio queue ruined it for me. Did they really have to use that?! That should be used for Transformers 3 strictly and nothing else.

You'll be there opening night just like the rest of us. That tractor beam thing in the trailer was more than a fx work, it was a metaphor.

Those two guys looked like CG people and I was confused because Dan Rather looked at least half human. :awesome:

LOL? What? You've already decided this is a must see opening night movie? Really? Wow, they could have shown a ham sandwich and you might have been sold.

Jesus, that's all of us from the hype in the trailer getting sucked in:wow:

I SO call dibs on being first in line!

Between this and Monster, the sci-fi movies of tomorrow are looking good.

Even though Skyline is being made by the hack directors of AvP: R.

Yeah, but this is from the people of AvP: R. The guys that wrote the "we need guns" line while the characters were hiding in a gun store.

I would hate to see what he would write if they were hiding in a porno store.
