Nah, it's not having taste so much as it is just being pretentious.

No, doing that does.
This trailer is destroying us all.
You'll be there opening night just like the rest of us. That tractor beam thing in the trailer was more than a fx work, it was a metaphor.

It's just the simple "yawn" aspect of it. It didn't add anything to the discussion other that the fact that you didn't care for the trailer. I don't care if you like the trailer or not, super cool opinion bro, it's just that that really doesn't add to anything.

Yep.It's from the directors of AvP: Requiem, so you know it's good!

what kind of question is this when its about an alien movie? How do those beams only suck up humans? Wouldn't they be sucking up cars and animals and other stuff?
Yeah Strauses can kiss my butt. Though I suppose we can thank them for making a film so terrible Fox actually had to implement quality control in their films.

Oh sure when this steals sound effects from Transformers we condemn it but when Avatar steals the Iconic T-Rex roars from Jurassic Park it's just a homage.
But yeah this looks bad.
That's my point. People are condemning Skyline for stealing the sound but for Avatar they are paying homage to the movie not stealing the sound. That is a new one, never heard it before. Also no one else said Skyline TF sound was an homage.
