Sleepy Hollow

And here I thought Hawley and Abigail might have a thing. It actually turns out to be Jenny and Hawley.

We’ve met Sleepy Hollow‘s versions of historical figures like George Washington and Ben Franklin; now the Fox drama is about to remember the ladies.

Michelle Trachtenberg has been cast as founding mother Abigail Adams, TVLine has learned exclusively.

The Buffy the Vampire vet will play the First Lady — her husband was John Adams, America’s second president — in an upcoming episode.

In addition to being the second FLOTUS, Abigail was mother to future President John Quincy Adams and an early advocate of equal rights for women.

In typical Sleepy fashion, we’ll learn that Abigail had a secret life that involved Katrina Crane. (Ooh, maybe Mrs. Adams hung out with the Sisterhood of the Radiant Heart from time to time?)

Trachtenberg’s TV resume also includes stints on Gossip Girl, Weeds, Criminal Minds and NCIS: Los Angeles. She recently played Marina Oswald in National Geographic Channel’s Killing Kennedy.

Another good episode, the way the depicted the Weeping Lady and her powers was fantastic and it was cool to get some backstory on Crane and Katrina.

I loved the scene where Ichabod went to apologize to Miss Caroline and this was Hawley's best episode, Miss Jenny has his number lol.

The glimpses oh Moloch are creating a real aura of menace and fear around him, great stuff.

How wonderful was the actress playing Mary? Even if we hadn't already known that she was obsessed with Ichabod her too-wide smile and eyes would've told us everything.

It's funny that they had Heather Lind play Mary right after she played a character in a period drama on TURN. But it's easy to see why - she did a great job on TURN, so it stands to reason that she'd get a similar role elsewhere.

Yeah I thought he was gonna be Abby's love interest too.

Yeah but I see tension between him and Abby

They could be setting up a triangle. Got to keep the siblings from getting too buddy buddy, I guess.

Well, I don't think we need to worry about the ratings for the show anymore. The last episode had a 1.8 after three straight weeks of 1.7

That is great. Of course, John Noble makes anything awesome.

Another interesting /spooky episode tonight with the Wendigo curse.
And it seems like Henry (Jeremy) is up to no good yet again -
this time involving Katrina and Irving. :O

Based on this week's episode, it looks like Jenny is suspicious of Hawley's motives for sticking around. He sure does seem to be getting along nicely with Abby... appears that they might be setting up a love triangle there, but I could be reading it wrong.

I'm glad it seems as though the main plot will be getting going again. These past few episodes have felt rather fillerish.

Loved that they used the Wendigo legend and did a really good job with it as the show has with all the myths and folk tales they have played with. It was also good that Henry was involved as he continues to manipulate all our heroes emotions. I actually though Corbin's son might become the new Sheriff.

There was some great back and forth between Abbie and Crane at the start, the two play off each other effortlessly, their timing has a real ease to it.

I love it... Ichabod is familiar with Peter Parker, 'the arachnid fellow' and Clark Kent...

How many times can this be stopped ? I kind of want 2 see him on earth now lol

Hot Succubus next week. :awesome: Played by the lovely Caroline Ford.:hrt: http://www.screenspy.com/tv/images-scoop-sleepy-hollow-2x08-heartless/

Every scene with Abbie and Crane is gold, one of my favourite duos on TV. The race against time this week was decent but what I really liked was the introduction of the Hellfire Club and the idea of occultist science.

Each ep seems to be ending with Henry getting some kind of success despite the heroes victory, I think he may be plotting to actually overthrow Moloch.

Do y'all think Abraham may end up turning against War and Molloch? I think it could be cool if the show had the Headless Horseman end up being a weapon or benefit to the good side. Like maybe he gets fed up and sacrifices himself to save Katrina and deal a blow against the bad guys.

Oh and Katrina was sexy as **** in that corset and those jeans!

Mills: "They're a freakin evil club! Try 666!"

*inputs 666* *opens*

Crane: "Complete lack of imagination"

:lmao:
