I checked this one out last night. It was a solid film. Dwayne Johnson showcases some acting chops in this one. I am so surprised by how much I liked it.

Just got back, very good flick to be honest. Johnson is seriously starting to turn into a very top tier actor. He's not like Shakesperian, but he's putting more into it than guys like Sly and Arnold did back in the day. He's not wooden anymore. His scenes with Susan Sarandon are excellent. The ads try to pass it off as an action flick but there are like maybe two major action scenes with the rest being drama and thriller.

Yeah I saw it today as well, it's a good drama/thriller with both Dwayne Johnson and Jon Bernthal giving it there all. My only complaint would be that there wasn't enough room for it to breath and not be serious all the time.

I'd give it a 7/10.

I knew Dwayne was a good actor from FASTER, but this just blew me away. Loved it alot.

I've always known that Dwayne Johnson could act since the first time he hosted SNL. I'm just glad he is now picking the correct roles.

As a Rock fan I Just saw this and this movie is garbage. Boring as ever. This has to be Rocks most wooden performance ever. He had no emotion. I wasn't expecting a straight up action flick but this movie had about 10% of it action. I was looking forward to this and I will always love the rock but this movie was a huge miss. But so far people love it, and I still want to see Rock movies but the rock is a better actor than this movie portrayed him as. I give this movie a solid D. I didn't want to finish it but I did because there was nothing else to do.

I really hope The Rock keeps peppering in dark, brutal thrillers like Faster and this amongst his films.
