Who's playing Spider-Man do we know?

If there is no version of the Spider-Man theme, then this fails.

I can think of many things that can cause it to fail. Do we really want a superhero musical?

Do we want a superhero musical? No. Does it matter? No. Am I wearing pants? Yes, but you expected a "no."

From the moment I heard of this I felt deep in my not-existing soul it was a bad idea. Spider-Man should never be in musical form. What are they gonna do, give us a Green Goblin with minions tap dancing on the bridge where Gwen dies, then sashay away while Spidey sings a mournful song? Ridunkculous.

I may have been against the project before, but if we can get that then I'm in. :hehe:

They actually has plans for a Batman Broadway musical a few years ago but it was canceled. Not that I'm going to see Spidey: The Musical but it somehow seems like a less bad idea than Batman.

Then again, Evil Dead was a musical a few years ago and I kinda wish I had seen it. Would have been good for a laugh.

It's bound to be better than this.

Though I never want to see Spider-Man dance/sing/cry on film again, I support this musical. I'm interested in what Taymor can bring to Spider-Man.
