So what exactly CAN the moderators do?

I'm moving to Portage (it's suburb) next Thursday. It's a lot closer to Western.

It's about 40 or so minutes from Battle Creek.

Ugh. I don't know about you, but moving is stressful to me. In fact, I hate packing. I'd rather use my duck tape for more...creative purposes. t:

Some powers are obvious, like banning, closing/merging threads, and changing usernames. But I've also heard they can see what page you come from when you enter Hype, what internet page you jump to when you leave, and they can view private messages.

What little-known powers do mods have? :heart:

And yeah, admins can read PMs, but not moderators. Moderators are like, board patrol.

No, we can't. And this whole "Nazi" crap is why I took a break in the first place. It's stupid. You're on the internet. Look up "vbulletin moderator powers" and investigate. Matter of fact, here's one better....

Be an admin yourself and see what you can and can't do. I betcha "read PMs that don't belong to you" is in the "can't do" stack.

I'm guessing that Mod's can also re-open threads, close threads, sticky threads (make them appear at the top of the board regardless of last post), add polls to threads, delete polls from threads, modify existing polls (adding options, deleting options and perhaps even changing counts).

Everything but the changing post counts. There's a way around that, but it'd be too much work for a moderator to do that. An admin can with no problem.
