Sequels So.... What happens to Sandman Now???

You would'nt even need a drawn up explanation... just be like....

Sandman: If it wasn't for SPiderman I could have gotten the money sooner for my daughter... now she's dead and I got nothing left...

Doc Ock: I could need a hand.... you game?

Sandman: Absolutely...

Okay, i'm not a writer... but its not far fetched

Sandman: The

It is far fetched since Doc Ock died...if they killed Venom because of the revenge storyline, then that means Doc Ock IS dead seeing how Spider-Man 2 was on a sacrifice storyline.

Ock sacrificed his dream, not necessarily his life.

It would still fit.

Nope...still gonna say he sacrificed his life...he sacrificed his dream when he became the monster...he was just a pshyco trying to create this machine again, not caring if it destroys the city or not.

Ok...everyone, say it with me:

NO

REPEAT

VILLAINS.

Need we go over it one more time?

I am not a fan of the repeat villain or Sinister Six idea either, but that would be the only way I could see Sandman or Ock coming back.

Spidey has plenty of other villains they could still use.

Let me just say...it'll be the most idiotic thing to have the Sinister Six in a movie...Spidey couldn't deal with Sandman and Venom by himself, how the hell will he fight off six villains?
The dumb part is how people think Doc Ock will come back to life.

Ock sacrificed his dream, not necessarily his life.

It would still fit.
How can you even think of denying that Doc Ock died? Who would've saved him? You saw him die...

I can understand people saying Eddie didn't die and stuff (although a little far-fetced) but Doc Ock? That's pretty silly of you to actually think he lived.

Well, you can't have a Sinister 6, if you don't have Doc Ock. Unless you put together Sandman's Six (Sandman, Vulture, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, Electro, Venom). You would be bringing back 2 people from SM3 with that team.

Way to bring Sandy back:

Doc Ock hears about Sandy, hears about his daughter, and kidnaps the daughter and demands Sandman work for him or his daughter is killed.

Boom, member for the 6.

Of course, repeats of villains can get annoying.

SO what Burton did was right??? Heck look at Lex Luthor in Superman.... the thing I find funny the most silly is people thinking that Electro and Scorpion can carry there own movies... what are they going to do? Okay lets team up to kill Spiderman and rob banks.... wow thats new... I mean cmon... there isn't much else they can do with these villains... so what.... Gargan was the third piece in the Ben murder??? Cmon guys... so you don't want a Sinister 6.... I get it... but who are we gonna use then???

Carnage??? Hopgoblin??? Those are the best "A" villains left... but they are essentially repeats in a more potent form... its still essentially the same thing. Are they good villains... absolutely... but I think it would just be a rehash with lesser characters... I know people agree with me on this....

What we need is an underlying theme... and underlying threat... that plays over and over again from 4-6... I am not just talking about the lessons Peter Parker learns... I am talking about the characters central to the story... it can't all be about MJ and Peter anymore... and Harry is dead...

The solution? We got Gwen.... great... we got Black Cat... super.... we got maybe John Jameson still out there. (You need another male rival for Peter Parker and this is the guy to do it... recast if need be no biggie) ofcourse we got the Bugle... the central characters are still there... but who or what is the underlying threat from hear on out? Whats the one villain that has that potential... its Doc Ock... that simple... again... with the proper motivation and the proper drive you can still do wonders with these characters... the rest of the villains are just random badasses in costumes... there is no real motivation other than Lets wreak havoc and rob banks... they have no essential purpose... but Ock can give them a purpose...

I'll say it again... I think Kingpin could be the Carmine Falcone of the new trilogy... let him have his own agendas and his own henchmen. But who said anything about the Sinister Six? But let him be in this... but they won't get the rights which really irks me... so lets enjoy Lizard for SM4... but I really want to know where Sony plans on going with this afterwards...

Doc Ock could come back...when someone with a better imagination than I have can think up of a ressurection plot that can satisfy everyone. What are they going to say? Doc Ock himself isn't superstrong...it's his massive arms. Are you going to say that he awoke in some small town, lost his memory, and just recalled about Spidey? That he really didn't drown and his tenticles are still possessing him?

Venom makes sense. I live under the philosophy if THERE IS NOTHING TO BURY, ASSUME HE CAN COME BACK!!!! And an interview claimed that a villain who died is coming back to Spidey 4...so...

I don't think Ock is alive, but he is easy to bring back (since the tentacles had AI).

Ock is MUCH more easier to bring back than Brock.

I disagree with you on a couple points. While we agree Electro can't carry a movie, the Scorpion could. His story about destroying Spidey and eliminating Jameson for what he did to him could carry a main plot of a movie. Scorpion has a more interesting plot to use than someone like Carnage, who you called "A" list. While he is in popularity, he can't provide a primary story. Really, Scorpion, Lizard, Kraven (even if you seperate him and the Lizard, he could be out to hunt Spider-Man), and Mysterio are the main villains I could see carrying the main story of a film. Hobgoblin could, but we have had enough goblins already, and most other villains Spidey has are too shallow and don't have the desire a main villain does (unless you change the character a bit or make the story smaller). However, villains like Black Cat should be avoided at all costs.

Kingpin is still property of FOX and cannot be in a Spider-Man movie, so he can't be the Falcone of this franchise.
