Marvel released this image Friday afternoon only asking the question "Who Is One Of The Most Exciting New Comic Characters of The Century?", promising an answer Monday afternoon on their website, presumably as part of a preview of their February 2010 solicitations.

The same thing that comics did to drum up interest on covers since the 19 F'ING 50's.

That's what I love about big two comics, boldly embracing the future. Or even the present. Or even anything after 1998.
