Anybody else pick this up? Certainly an interesting start to the mini IMO. I look forward to issue 2.

I liked the first issue and I'm interested in where this is going. It's weird to see that Cyrus Gold can turn into Solomon Grundy at certain times, like the Bruce Banner does with the Hulk. I'm unsure if Solomon Grundy is suppose to be an anti-hero or just a plain villain.

I thought 1 issue was coming out for each day of the week the way the advertisements has put it, but I was sadly disappointed. I like Kolins artwork on the book. It has a nice gritty feel to it.

I think Solomon Grundy may have a role in Blackest Night somehow. Being a zombie one minute and a human the next could mean he is the only person that can be a Black Lantern, besides Black Hand, that is not dead.

Ooh, I didn't even think about him as a Black lantern, that would be interesting.

I think he'll just be a villain, well i hope. And, definitely loving Kollins artwork so far :)

I just got back from the store and picked up 2. Haven't read it yet, but even if it's abysmal (which 1 was alright, enough to keep me interested) I'm going to finish it out, if nothing other than to show my support for Scott Kolins. It's not often that you see a company like DC publish something that was both written and drawn by the same person, and it shows an incredibly amount of dedication.

I figure if the sales of it do ok then it could open doors for more people that are trying to break into the industry to get aboard, what with the amount of people that draw/write their own stories now a days.

True. I'll not be getting to my shop until tomorrow, so I'll pick it up then.

Haha, oh man. This issue. It's so very awesome, the interactions between Solomon Grundy and Bizarro are top notch. You'll like it, I guarantee it.

I really enjoyed the second issue.

Solomon Grundy and Bizarro are a great team-up.

I saw that Grundy was fighting Bizarro this week. I'll look into that.

When the [blackout]plant fell on Bizarro's head[/blackout] I started cracking up.

Classic.
