I doubt he has anything to do with the movie

Haven't heard anything about Ross being in the movie(a mention would be nice though since he is a general after all)

Loki is just using the army as a pawn to help him take over earth while he tries to gain control of the cube..the cube may be powering the weapons though, like red skull did in TFA, so maybe loki does have access to the cube's power at some point.

I don't think it will be a THanos after credits scene, I think it will be IM3, but I think the blue-gem thing on loki's staff could be the mind gem of the Inf. Gauntlet, so thanos could be a future enemy (hopefully TA3)

those are my Guesses, no idea if any of this will come to fruition, but I can't wait to find out on May 4th
