The Dark Knight something i noticed in the whysoserious site

If batman doesn't hurry up she is going to be jokerized. I think if the joker killed Rachel it would give batman the rage to beat the joker. It would be awsome to see batman go psycho on the joker, and it would show that batman has a dark side too. Maybe that is how he beats the joker. The joker kills rachel and batman goes ape***** on him. When I say beat I don't mean kill.

That's what I, and most, are thinking. He'll have to kill her in order to make things personal between himself and Batman, otherwise he's just another nut, like Scarecrow.

Does anyone else hope the joker survives this movie and returns in a latter movie?

Abso-friggin'-lutely. The Joker cannot die! :csad: And I think Nolan's smart enough to know that.

If Nolan does, for some stupid reason, kill the joker it would really hurt the character. The joker is not a 2 dimmensional character, and he needs time to expand. One film isn't enough for him. So hear is to hoping the joker lives to terrorize another day.

And about Rachel, it would definitely make things personal. I read a while back, when talk about the Dark Knight was just beginning, that Bale said that Batman goes to a really dark place mentally and emotionally in this film. That the reason why the film is called the Dark Knight will be clear by the time we are done watching the film.

Maybe Rachel's capture and death is a result of something batman did. Maybe he messed up, and it ended up causing Rachel to be captured and killed. If this happened it would definitely haunt batman, and send him into a dark place emotionally and mentally.
