Dont know if anyone else noticed how when inside the offices of the Daily Planet the color's on the wall match exactly the colors of the new suit in SR.

Could this be foreshadowing on the colors of the suit that will be used in the show?

    Here's a picture I took from the episode... :)

They match Clark's Tshirt which he's been wearing for the last four years. So I think its more that than the SR suit.

I don't really see it. I see the blue.. but otherwise.. I see shades of brown. Is that what you are talking about?

Maybe the set decorated just wanted the DP to look drab? :p

    *ahem* Sorry. :O

Yeah I know Superman's colors but notice how on the wall the Red is darker, and fits the tone of the suit from the movie as does the yellow, and the blue.

Yeah, it does. I definitely see the similarity. But I'm not sure why that seems important since it's part of that set.

Ever notice the Carhartt jackets Clark actually *wears* in every episode? They're red, not maroon...

Even the blankets they drape over him are red...

They've got some serious 'splainin' to do if this isn't the red they're gonna use...

Hey Kai... can ya make a larger .gif of this scene from Hereafter?

I just realized that's the biggest one I have. Not good! LOL

Actually, that Atlas inspired statue behind them is more SR related than the colors.....I noticed it a few episodes ago.

    Why? Because it's art deco?

    Looking-for-syngergy-where-none-exists much?

It's not like Singer invented art deco design, that's a style that predates the original Superman comics in 1938.

However, I should point out that the statue in that photo is the Atlas statue in Rockefeller Center and is not inspired by anything that is contained in SR.

Unless, of course, SR's design was conceived by Singer prior to 1937 when that statue was installed...

(I'll post links for the first two I found since the images are huge)

    Get defensive much? Sheesh.

I was speaking in generalizations.....There's a certain pick of Routh as Superman holding 'Weight of the world on his shoulders' much like the Atlas depiction in the background.

It's a metaphor for Superman. And considering that I stated, 'that Atlas inspired statue behind them is more SR related than the colors.....', it doesn't mean too much. But, it IS something very inherent with the Superman mythos. (The whole weight thing)

Another reason I only post in the Talon these days....

    LOL!

    Yeah, I do... :p

Oh, come on... You weren't talking generalizations but so what?

I didn't mean to come off as being trollish, so I'm sorry if I ticked you off...

I just wanted to point out that the statue has NOTHING to do with SR.

It could have something to do with both Smallville and SR in a thematic sense, so that might be a valid point to make in that sense on a Smallville forum, but you didn't provide enough of your thinking for me to really get any of that from what you said...

    *shrug*
