Sony Just Updated the blog...poster 1 looks a little darker?

I can say whatever I want. I dont know how other guys are seeing venom or those. But I see clear as day a face that resembles the freen goblin. the nose is in the bottom right coner of the eye, and right above that I see the eyes the eyebrow ridges and even the forehead ridge that goes straight up. I don't see a blurry maybe could be it, I see a clear as day. It's not even blurry to me. It looks clear as day, like so clear your supposed to notice it.

I think they did that. It looks extremely clear to me. Eveything is proportioned exactly and in the right locations, the shading is perfect. It really looks clear as could be.

in all honesty, sony made it glaringly obvious when doc ock was in spidey's eye...why would they hide anything so ambiguously at this point when all of the villains have been shown in one form or another?

yeah but from my point of view this is glaringly obvious. I don't feel that it was hidden ambigously. I wasn't searching for a face, I just saw it.

Spider-Bite, I don't want to come off as rude, but there is nothing in the eye. If you were to take a poll of people and ask them if they DISTINCTLY and EASILY see something in his eye, the majority would most assuredly say "no." Look at this picture from Spider-Man 2.

When they put something there, they make it CLEAR. No ambiguity at all. Even with your diagram of the eye, I don't see anything. I'm starting to think that the designers at Sony intentionally put splotches in the posters just because they want to see people argue over whether something is there or not.

As much as I hate to add to this sort of speculation, I have to admit that it really does look like a face. And I find it curious that there are indiscrepancies between the highlighting in the lens in the different posters, though they're essentially the same picture.

I don't feel your being rude. I feel some posts were, but that's not. There might not be anything, or maybe wherever spidey was standing when the shot was taken, maybe something else in the building was reflected in his eye and they didn't intend to, or maybe it was intentional. I don't know, but that is a heck of a coincedence. And i really don't know how you can't see it. It's so incredibly obvious to me. I don't even have to guess what the face is supposed to look like. It doesn't look it's missing even a single facial feature.
