Daily Bugle Update (Lenticular Download)

Hey all. I'll keep this short.
Sony's main Spider-man page has updated their Daily Bugle section and have included a Quicktime version of the new poster.

I am a bit disappointed with their media file for the poster. It clearly does not resemble the way a true lenticular poster would act. The animation should be from side to side but this changes all at once.
Maybe I will manip it later to behave properly, but then again someone did that well in the manips section already using the photo of the poster as a starting point.
Either way, good to see that Sony remembers to keep their site updated once in a while.

Something I hadn't noticed before....

I like how on the red version, on the webbing you can still see the gold tint that the previous two movies used for their posters.... which isnt there on the black version. It's a really neat, subtle detail.

If you look at the red fabric it has those shapes on it, if you look at the black fabric it has those shapes on it, but they look slimey.

Thanks Jubba. It is pretty cool to see the lenticular poster change from Spider-Man's red to black costume. The spider symbol on the black costume is awesome!

thanks, i already made the lower one into a small avatar but lost out on detail and several frames due to the restrictions...maybe when i have a few thousand more posts i can increase the size...grrrr....
it's my current avatar and also posted in the avatar thread
if you can turn it into a better one go nuts...just give me credit when using it or whatever
