what if the police is just thinking wrong?when peter finds that out he becomes angry and obssesed. than when he gets teh ssymbiote he can have a dream how sandman killed hes uncle. this would also explain why sandman has the same shirt on(peter did have a fight with him already and knows sandman only with the green shirt).
just a theory. and in the end peter would be angry on sandman just like harry in angry on peter. and both of them are wrong.

Well, that's what I meant when I said "it is possible that Sandman didn't kill Uncle Ben, that he was just framed or something..." It's a good theory since Mr. Curtis didn't outrightly tell us that Sandman really is the killer when it is so easy to say yes since the trailer screams the fact, it would be no spoiler if he confirmed it,
but he didn't, didn't he? ...
