Based on the 2013 childen's book about a young boy who opens his crayon box to discover dozens of tiny resignation letters due to his crayons being sick of their lot in life and wanting something new. Looking to be a live action/CG comedy.

I would say Creativity/Originality is dead in Hollywood but that ship has sailed a long time ago.
Hollywood is a full on desperate zombie at this point.

Can't imagine how they're going to pad this one out. The book's not long enough to sustain a movie. Maybe introduce a rival gang of pencils?

If they give the crayons personalities and make it like a kid's version of Sausage Party with the crayons wanting to escape their lot in life it could work as an 80 - 90 minute kids cartoon.
