The Asylum really only caters to BlockBuster but in the last year they've been moving slowly to the SyFy channel as a go to source for movies. The Syfy channel just paid them for an original movie. This most likely will show up on the channel as well. Like all their movies lately.

Of course PIXAR will do better. They're budget is like $200 million. The Asylum has like $500,000 and that where they top out. Unless Syfy is picking up the check, in that case it'll be $1,000,000.

after looking at asylum's site, i knew they were going to be the ones behind the terminator rip-off movie i watched the other day. there's gotta be some copyright problems there...

Yeah, the other day I saw a preview for one of their movies called...wait for it.......... The Terminators... So they just added an "S" to the end of an actual movie title, and passe dit as "original". Plus, we get classics like Transmorphers, and The Day the earth Stopped.
On the other hand, Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus was mildly original and hilarious.

This one will probably be more faithful to the book in terms of nudity. Well, hopefully.

This very low/medium budget version of the novel and direct-to-video-syfy type film just like they did for World of worlds. You can also tell this a modern take cause the uniform John Carter wears in those picks. I bet Pixar will keep it Victorian era and very close to it's source material.
