great, you told me this ages ago. I was replying to Excel's claim that they marketed the Hulk perfectly.

I think the perfect teaser for this movie would be one that catches audiences by surprise. Start off with Edward Norton doing whatever he might be doing. I believe he's supposed to be on the run, so just show that, and get people wondering what it is. Then have Edward Norton Hulk-out.

At first people will just be wondering "what is this movie?", they'll see Edward Norton and wonder "hm, what's he up to now". Then when he turns into the freakin' Hulk, people will be shocked.

perfect!...i dont know if you saw transformers....but there's this movie that they showed in the previews that was like "what the hell is this"....it looked a transformer preview or something like with the statue of liberty's head in the middle of the street...remember now?...anyway what i was trying say is, they should market the hulk just like that, where your like...what is this?...only problem with that preview i was talking about....after it was over i was still like what the hell was that? lol

I still believe 300 only succeeded because it looked like nothing on screen before it. Better historical epics, with better star power, have failed miserably.

All those movies were bad movies anyways. 300 was actually entertaining, and despite what people say, wasn't that historically inacurate. TIH would never have as big of an opening weekend as 300, but if the marketing is good enough to get a decent amount on opening weekend and they like it, people will tell their friends family, co-workers about it, like 300 and wo-la, TIH isn't a complete bust. Sadly, I doubt it will be huge, but I think if done right, it can be a success.
