I’m gearing myself up mentally to say goodbye to my first and only telescope. I’ve had it since before my little human, who is now 10. Perseverance will land (or crash :csad: ) on Mars February 18.

 

I hope the drone sent with the rover will be able to fly as expected in thin Martian atmosphere.

If it functions correctly, it would be a remarkable achievement towards sending more such drones to "explore" the planet and take pictures (and collect other data).

The landing in the methane *pool is one of the scariest thing I've ever seen.

I hope this sort of space exploration continues. NASA just sending probes out to unknown worlds for camera footage.. catch the aliens off guard.:huh::wow: :hrt:lol
