So, a few weeks ago, this guy who works in the restaurant neighboring my store comes into work. He begins discussing energy drinks with me. Later on, he brings me this small can. No sugar, no calories, no nothin'. Or was there? Anyway, I drank it. Good. He came back later and asked if I'd like to buy a case.

"Yeah, maybe."

He comes a few days later with an update.

"My dealer wants to know what flavor you'd like."

Dealer? What? Eh, I guess it's exclusive to the internet? Anyway. He brings the case into me a few nights ago - I didn't even know I officially agreed to buying it. I'm passive, though, and paid. This stuff is filled with insane amounts of vitamins and what not. But, what concerns me is the happy feeling I get from it (unlike any other energy drinks I've had) and the fact that it contains **** cleverly named, "aptogenic herbs."

The can looks legit enough, but the ingredients list scares me.

What the **** are aptogenic herbs? And this came from this guy's dealer?

What are your thoughts? Continue drinking this? No? Drugs? What?

'Cause you can italicize a thread title, right?

And I didn't even read your post.

Just...just...get on your face and push.

Duh the **** I can't! I used italics code symbolically! So that your mind knew it to be italicized! :cmad:

What a loser.

And no. No you should not. :cmad:

I think you should drink 6 cans all at once and see what happens.

http://www.queenofherbs.com/html/adaptogenic_herbs.html

Adaptogens are primarily herbs which increase the body’s resistance to physical, biological, emotional and environmental stressors. They are unique from other substances in their ability to balance endocrine hormones and the immune system, and they help the body to maintain optimal homeostasis.

Most of the herbal adaptogens that have been identified are used in either Ayurveda or Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), they include:.

Ayurvedic Herbs: Amla, Ashwagandha, Guduchi, Holy Basil, Licorice, Shatavari, Shilajit

Chinese Herbs: Asian Ginseng, Astragalus, Codonopsis, Cordyceps, Eleuthero, He Shou Wu, Jiaogulan, Licorice, Lycium, Prince Seng, Reishi, Schisandra

Western Herbs: American Ginseng, Rhaponticum, Rhodiola

in other words they just help the body deal with stress easier? wutever the hell that means...

doesnt sound too bad to me.. probably safer than Monster energy drinks, which i have AT LEAST once a day.

you should stop using energy drinks and just start taking speed like a real man...

As a rule, I think all energy drinks are dangerous. I've looked at several ingredients on the sides of cans and seen that they average 4-6 large doses of stimluants each. I don't see the point of that. I also think combing those with alcohol or exhertion could be deadly. If you feel that you need something stronger than regular coffee ( not the supercaf stuff ), then you might consider a change in diet or sleep pattern instead.

Your liver gon piss Italics if you keep drinking that preservative shyt..

i just wouldnt trust buying anything consumable from a stranger selling you caseloads from his dealer.

if anything drink green tea, or vitamin/energy water.

better sleeping habits should help you

and what is it exactly that you do that requires for such an exaggerated replenishment of bodily energy?

i get the same thing, i sleep fine but i always wake up still drained out, even hours after i wake up.

red bulls usually do the job but there not good for me. or anyone really.

Meh, everything is dangerous if you take too much of it. People like to overdo **** unfortunately, thereby causing their health ailments.

those energy drinks are bad for you

still, what is it that people do that they need that drains their batteries so much as to need energy drinks?

do they hold three jobs, tend their houses, take care of their children, and go to the gym or something like that?

work from 5 am to 4 pm and usually get only 4 to 5 hours of sleep then see if you can go with no charging.

I might work at a nutrition store..The smoothies they're gonna be selling all have some freaking energy powder drink in them.:cmad:

It's basically liquid crack. I don't drink, but I ask people that don't like them, you drink alcohol, so what's your reason for doing that? I drink them to keep me active, albeit an artificial activeness.
