Questions if anybody can help out:

1) Is the only maskless New Goblin the "unarticulated" one?

2) The comments Hasbro released about 6" figures later in the year, were those just a tease or do we have some word on what they are?

Is anyone else actually disappointed with the figures? Venom's the wrong color, Goblin looks like a rejected GI Joe figure and they're all smaller. In order to get figures that are in line with the SM 1 and 2 figures, you have to by the newly released ones and then there's the "Spider-man" line. Half the line looks like they could be movie figures the other half looks like they should be released with the Playskool line. If I would've known they were gonna turn out like this, I would've kept the black SM custom I made.

7-Eleven also is lining up deals with the "Spider-Man" franchise in advance of the third installment in May. The promotion will feature Black Cherry Lemonade Slurpees and collectible Slurpee cups with three-dimensional graphics on the side.

Spidey in the black suit is black, but Venom's purple. WTF is that about?

I'm waiting for the Venom statue, personally.

New Spider-Man 3 collectible book that was on dispay at Comic-Salon Erlangen '06 in Germany (i think) last year. It will go on sale in May (not the statue).The book will be limited to 999 copies and contains exclusive material.

Cost = 1.699 Euros!!

I love all of the slurpee cups I have and 3-dimensional? Woo-hoo!!!! If that's right, and they might be doing holograms (ROTS, SR)... omg that's going to be awesome!

Wonder if they're going to do an extra bonus type cup as well (ROTS had Yoda head and SR had a superman emblem).

Also guys F4 and I think- description was very vague- that there might be Simpsons cups as well?

Maybe add on a couple of more movies, don't really know- just read the article over on the SHH main page... 7-11 has some pretty interesting stuff going on this summer.

So not only is this summer a great summer for movies, it's also a great slurpee summer.

To any one in britain wanting the figures there now availiable in Toys R Us, i was there earlier picked up-

Sandman
Super articulated Spider-Man
Quick Change Spider-Man
New goblin
Symbonite Spider-Man.

There priced at £7.99 each and while there smaller than the toy biz ones there pretty similar, Sadly though the articulated one isant nearly as articulated as the Toy Biz one (and the head on the Quick change spiderman isant as close a likeness to tobey as toybiz did, its more of a cartoon look than a movie acturate look)

That said there still pretty nice figures.

Just got myself Hasbro's Venom toy with the capture web at K-Mart today, but my mother (of all people) wants me to keep it unopened as a collector's item in hopes that it accrues value sometime in the near future. For all the complaints, I like it. The color of the figure is second to my happy disposition at seeing my favorite villain in the SM3 merchandise line. I'm going back, though...I can't keep myself away from the version with the symbiote claws. I have quite the lengthy collection of Spider-Man figurines I'd love to see it join.

It feels weird to say, at my age, that I'm excited about getting a toy clearly stamped outside of the case as "suitable for ages 4+". I haven't "played" with my toys for about 7 years.

Those toys look humorously weird. Peter looks too serenely calm with his Black Suit, Peter with the Black Suit showing looks more like an angry rioter than a moping emo, Sandman has black hair, New Goblin has been replaced by the spirt of James Dean and Brock's head would look huge if Gwen and MJ didn't take that no-prize. Funny little inclusions, though. I sort of wish we got a short little promotional animation using them.

7.99 (uk price) seems a little steep for 5 inch action figures but it'll be worth it if i can find Daddy and Sonny Goblin. If I've got any dosh left over I'll pick up Venom too.
