Has it been announced by sony about SM4,5,6? Because in EW this week It says that Sam told Ew that SOny is planning htem.

But the real shocker came when director Sam Raimi told EW that Sony expectgs to make not just Spider-Man 4, but fifth and sixth installment as well. (No word on whether he'd direct or if Maguire would star.)

They haven't officialy announced BUT Amy Pascal (head of Sony Pictures) said she'd want to go on up to 6.

Also -interestingly- when writer Alvin Sargent signed up to write the script for Spider-Man 3 he also signed s option to write no.4 as well.
