<H1>PixFusion Signs Licensing Deal with Marvel for Spider-Man
NEW YORK-(Business Wire)-January 9, 2007 - PixFusion LLC (www.pixfusion.com), creator of personalized, branded video products, has signed a multi-year licensing deal with Marvel/Spider-Man(TM) Merchandising L.P. (NYSE: MVL) (www.marvel.com), one of the world's most prominent character-based entertainment companies, for the licensing of Spider-Man(TM) and his family of characters. Under terms of the agreement, PixFusion is using its patented technology to publish a photo-personalized Spider-Man video, "I Am the Amazing Spider-Man."
"I Am the Amazing Spider-Man," available through PixFusion's Kideo brand Web site (www.kideo.com), joins current licensed titles starring Dora the Explorer, Care Bears and Arthur. Using its patented process, PixFusion takes a child's color photo sent by e-mail or via regular mail and transforms it into a 25-minute action packed adventure based on "Spider-Man-The Animated Series" (MTV) and starring the featured child as the "web-slinger" himself, battling many of the legendary Spider-Man(TM) villains such as Electro and Lizard. The DVD also contains exciting bonus features including educational content and a music video set to the classic theme song from the 1960s animated cartoon with the child swinging into action "Spidey Style."
"I Am the Amazing Spider-Man" is a wonderful addition to our current product line," said Marc E. Jaffe, PixFusion CEO. "Children and fans alike will love watching themselves as Spider-Man taking on his arch enemies."

Just found this.

they need to make a color change suit! toy

cold water symbiote
hot water, regular spidey

I saw fruit roll ups at Target with Spidey 3 on the front of the box. That's all I've seen so far.:whatever:

Does anybody else think they may be marketing this movie a bit early? There's still nearly 5 months to go now.

well spidey3 is becoming more everywhere and by that i mean it is not just the internet anymore. they did this with spidey2 with the action figures but i thought it wasa great idea. in march i am guessing they will release spidey3 toys if not earlier.

Spiderman doesn't really need to market itself too heavy too early cause of it's built in audience...or so they thought. Last time around they pulled the Superbowl ad's. The 2nd film made less than the first which surprised me a bit cause it was a better film but it was also a film that dragged at times while the first one was pretty fast paced from start to finish. I think the 3rd film is gonna be an action extravaganza unlike anything we've seen yet so they should push real hard this time around and I also believe they should have superbowl spots. There's no reason why this one can't make more than the first 1 especially with higher ticket prices.

agreed, i think they should advertise the film because it is very exciting and it brings people that are movie fans but are not familiar with spiderman and his history to the films and it also builds up alot more hype for us fans.

There's a site somewhere which lists all the ads. I know the first half has sold out or close to it already but I can't find that site. Here's some news on it:

http://www.usatoday.com/money/advertising/2007-01-02-super-bowl-usat_x.htm

http://money.cnn.com/2007/01/03/news/funny/superbowl_ads/index.htm

Looks like Emerald Nuts, Mercedes, Zune/Microsoft, and I'm sure Coke & Pepsi will do their thing. Pirates of Caribean, Fantastic Four needs to do an ad. It's a must because that franchise needs more exposure, and of course Ghost Rider.

it doesn't say anything about spidey3 but there still could be a superbowl tv spot.

I doubt it, Sony is probably still pissed about that leaked footage, and they probably won't give it up come Super-Bowl time.

Those are pretty awesome. The more I see the "New Goblin" the more I like it. You really just have to accept the fact that its not anything else other than "New Goblin."

Venom looks kinda like Tom Lyle's interpretation of the character.

I hope the Bust for Spider-man 3 look something like this.

i think that would be cool although some of the spidey3 busts i would like should be a fully body in a pose or something but i think it is more like a statue. anyways i wouldn't mine the spidey3 busts being like the ones that Kal-El 8 posted.

does the die cast spider-man titanium series statuette count as movie merchandise i just bought one today?:spidey:

beautiful isn't it silver and blue
not traditional i admit but it beats the sidekick suit all hollow :spidey:
it sure is great. oh and i just remembered i bought it two weeeks ago at wal-mart. they only had one left of spiderman so i grabbed the spider-man and bought it:spidey::yay:.

Hmm...the original Green Goblin is appearing on several pieces of merchandise! Maybe it will make people think "The Green Goblin is back again", just with Harry. I dunno. Anyway, has anyone seen the commercial for Fruit Roll Ups? They have Spider-Man 3 fruit roll-ups, and a guy is swinging around.
