Spider-Man 3 "Theme" Song

So I downloaded the song.
It's OK. Just like Dashboard Confessional's song for Spider-Man 2, I find the song very meh. This song does have a great hook and gets better everytime I listen to it. I can also imagine this song being at the end of Spider-Man 3.

Spider-Man's cover song "Hero" is still trumps this. (And I am not a Nickelback or Saliva fan)

And with it being an AOL link, and AOL claiming it to be from SM3... personally, to me at least, AOL is alot more credible a source.

There was NO song in the trailer. t: That was SCORE (composed music rather than performed music).... Snow Patrol most likely was talking about the TV spot campaign which features songs sometimes- trailers (for blockbuster films) usually only use a score or temp score.

ummmm. I don't HATE it. I just thought it would be something a little bit more hardcore....considering the totally awesome fighting thats bound to happen in this movie. But then again, ppl have been talking about how romantic this movie is....i dont thinks its the best song for the movie.....

I can understand 'hard core', but think of this music as being the next scene of the movie... it's not romantic really, it's TRAGIC.

Harry dies. Which would best suit as the scene following this? Hard rock or a 'lament' for Harry type song?

The main theme of the movie is FORGIVENESS- not darkness.
